Trying to input or activate a Toad DBA Suite license key in Benchmark Factory (BMF), but the the following error message is given:
"The Product ID in the license key does not match the requested Product ID"
RESOLUTION 1:
If you try to enter a Toad DBA Suite key via the “Benchmark Factory” Tab in the BMF licensing screen, it will not work. You can only enter a ‘standalone’ BMF key in there.
To enter a Toad DBA Suite key, you will need to click on the ‘New’ Tab (the Tab with yellow asterisk). From there it will work.
RESOLUTION 2:
Activate your Toad Suite product (installed on the same machine) as normal and BMF will automatically detect it. You can go to the Help | Licensing window to verify the keys entered or saved.
