Title: I Reverse Engineered a DB2 LUW 9.7 database. I notice that while in the Logical model, under Domains it is not showing any of the columns from any of my tables. Why?
Domain is a logical concept, it does not exist in the actual database for DB2, only in the case that the domain was defined in the database as a distinct type.
If distinct type was checked on during a Forward Engineer to the database, then ERwin will later be able to Reverse Engineer the column as a domain.
In the screen shot below (bottom right), distinct type is checked on in the model. Therefore, if the column is Forward Engineered to the database, then ERwin would later be able to Reverse Engineer that column under the domain.
