InTrust repository indexing was improved greatly with the introduction of version 10.4. However, if you don't reindex the repository after the upgrade, it will continue to use the previous index.
Because of the improvements to Repository indexing, a pre 10.4 repository will need to be reindexed to take advantage of the improvements
1. Open the properties of the repository in InTrust Manager, and on the General tab, clear the Enable indexing option.
2. Wait until an indexing-disabled message arrives in the InTrust log. The message is as follows:
Event ID: 13841
Type: Information
Source: InTrust Indexing
Operation: Indexing Configuration
Description: Indexing disabled for repository <repository_name>
3. Delete the IndexingRoot$ folder, which stores the indexing data. This folder can be in the following locations:
If the Store index in option is set to Repository folder (in the repository properties on the Indexing tab), IndexingRoot$ is in the folder specified on the Repository tab.
If the Store index in option is set to This location, then the location of IndexingRoot$ is specified there. In addition, you also need to delete IndexingRoot$ in the repository folder (look it up on the Repository tab).
4. Enable indexing again in the repository properties on the Indexing tab.
