Oracle archive log is growing very fast after Foglight Management Server upgrade.
Server log is showing table truncation activities:
VERBOSE [QuartzScheduler.StorageManager_Worker-2] com.quest.nitro.service.persistence.obs.storage.BasicStorageHandler - Truncating table obs_xxx_xxxx
VERBOSE [QuartzScheduler.StorageManager_Worker-2] com.quest.nitro.service.persistence.obs.storage.StorageManagerService - Changing state of table obs_xxx_xxxx from RELEASED to UNASSIGNED.
If there are rollup problems in the environment prior to the upgrade, then the upgrade might have overcome the original problem and set off large bulk of rollup activities which had accumulated overtime. The FMS will remove each rolled up timeslice every 5 minutes, and the respective tables will be truncated, impacting the Oracle archive log.
Wait for FMS to complete the housekeeping task.
