A job fails with "Error transferring data to Mid, marked read only" message.
The "Error transferring data to Mid, marked read only" error can occur when there is a problem with the Backup Selection Set associated with a job.
On the job that is failing with this error, do the following:
1.) Open the NetVault GUI's Jobs window
2.) Right-click on the problematic job and choose "View/Edit"
3.) On the job's Selections tab, make a note of the current "Backup Selection Set" name, then click "Modify"
4.) Browse down through the desired server, through the plugin you're using for backup, into the volumes
5.) Re-select the files and folders that you'd like to back up.
6.) On the lower portion of the backup window, click the "Save As" button and specify the name you'd like for the "Backup Selection Set".
7.) You will more than likely want to use the same name that it was using before, so you can select the previous name from the list and "Ok" for it to be overwritten.
8.) On the top portion of the backup window, click the "Save" button to re-save the updated version of the job
9.) Resubmit the job to run again to test.
