During the installation process of InTrust Server, Pre-Requisites Check step is failing on Update for Universal C Runtime point
This happens due to InTrust installation process requires Windows Update services to be enable on target host. Current Pre-Requisites Check procedure tries to enumerate updates which are already installed at the target system and find out Universal C++ Runtime package there, as soon as that package is a part of Windows Update distribution. When Windows Update service is disabled, InTrust installer cannot enumerate existing updates and define Universal C++ Runtime as installed and ready to use, then Installation Wizard cannot proceed. Manual installation of Universal C++ Runtime package will not solve this issue, if Windows Update is not enabled at the system.
If you need to install InTrust on host with no Windows Update service running, you must enable such service at least for the installation process period. This will ensure Pre-Requisites Checks passed and then InTrust installation process can continue normally. For current version of InTrust (11.4, 11.4.1, ) enabled Windows Updates at least during the installation time is mandatory.
This situation with Pre-Requisites Checks procedure will be fixed in InTrust 11.4.2
