FMS installer gets stuck and stops during installation process on AWS's EC2/Windows Server 2019 in GUI mode before configuring anything.
No log was created.
Previously there was also a problem uninstalling foglight - the corrupted installation. Nothing happened when attempting to uninstall from UI or from command line.
WORKAROUND
When trying silent-installation with default properties, the installer completed and ran successfully. Then uninstalling it and reinstalling again in GUI mode, with the specific requested external database, the installation finished successfully and Foglight ran.
STATUS
This issue has been logged as defect ID FOG-3479 and will be fixed in a future release of the Foglight installer.
