When you open OWA and click on a message which has been stripped by Archive Manager, you see This message has been archived Click Here to view message But when you click the link, the message does not open.
This is expected behavior. OWA cannot authenticate to the Archive Manager server unless the system that is accessing the link is logged into the domain. If there are no supplied credentials, the website cannot authenticate.
Open up the AM website externally using a domain name and forms based authentication, or use the offline client to sync mail for your off site users.
