Unable to install node manually or remotely in a 2 way domain trust (4299534)

we are currently setting up ER and have the main ER server and SQL db on a separate server. On the same domain I have been able to set up a node and automatically deploy however get a access denied to the Admin$ share on the remote machine we're installing a node on the remote domain in the 2-way trust (Although this can be accessed fine with the creds in File Explorer).

The user account used is a domain admin in the remote domain. When manually installing it states that it needs to be a member of the local administrator group (which it is, manually and domain admins)
