- Logon to the Enterprise Reporter node server that is running out of space, using the service account that runs the node service
- Go to the System Properties within the Control Panel (or go to the properties of the Computer object in Windows)
- Go to Advanced System Settings
- Click on the Advanced Tab
- At the bottom click on "Environment Variables"
- Change the paths for TEMP and TMP from "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp" to the desired path, for example "D:\Temp"
- Restart the Enterprise Reporter Node service
RESOLUTION #2:
If the service account cannot log on to the server, the another admin will need to modify the registry for the service account to make these changes.
- Logon to the Enterprise Reporter node server that is running out of space, using an account that has local admin access
- Open a command prompt and run the command "wmic useraccount get name, sid". This will list all of the SIDs for accounts that have access to the server. Make note of the SID for the service account
- Open Regedit and navigate to "HKEY_USERS\(SID OF SERVICE ACCOUNT)\Environment
- Modify TEMP and TMP to the desired path, for example "D:\Temp"
- Restart the Enterprise Reporter Node service
