NAS Host Configuration for File Storage Analysis of a NetApp server
Description
What configuration information and credential are required for "NAS Host Configuration" when configuring a File Storage Analysis discovery for a NetApp server?
Resolution
The following should be configured when configuring a File Storage Analysis discovery for a NetApp server:
Device Type: NetApp
NetApp Storage System IP/Host: IP or Host name of the Physical NetApp server (not a Storage Virtual Machine (SVM))
Port: Typically, this is HTTP and can be left blank
Credentials: Typically, Administrator or Root. The account requires access to the physical NetApp Server as it reads the CPU count, memory, version, etc.
