Error when connecting "Your account is not a member of the Reporter_Discovery_admins" -
Description
The below error may occur when connecting the Configuration Manager:
"Your account is not a member of the Reporter_Discovery_admins. Ensure your account is added to this group, and then log in again"

Resolution
Ensure the below:
- The account logged into the server is a member of the group " Reporter_Discovery_admins". This group can be a group in the domain or a local group on the SQL server, depending on how it was configured during installation and the version of product installed
- The group exists on the SQL server and has access to the Enterprise Reporter database (dbReporter by default)
- The group needs to have "Discovery_Admin_Role" membership to access the database
If the above is true and the error still occurs, then grant the service account (the account running the Quest Enterprise Reporter Server service) Read access to the Users container in Active Directory
