SQL Optimizer for Oracle maximizes SQL performance by automating the manual, time-intensive and uncertain process of ensuring that SQL statements are performing as fast as possible.
What’s new in this version
This release of SQL Optimizer includes the following new features and enhancements.
Test Run Different Bind Values
You can now test run SQL alternatives using a number of different bind values. After optimizing a SQL statement
that contains one or more bind variables, you can use the Test Run Different Bind Values tab to select SQL and
enter multiple bind values to test run against.
Click the Define Bind Values link to specify multiple bind values. You can manually enter values or
import values from a .txt or .csv file. You can also find and use bind values captured by Oracle. If you
import multiple values from a file, you can then select all or a subset of those values to test run in the
Full functionality in the Test Run Different Bind Values tab is enabled only if a SQL statement is entered in
the SQL Details tab, the SQL is valid, and the SQL contains at least one bind variable.
Setting Bind Variables
To streamline the Setting Bind Variables dialog, the form no longer includes a Null column. To indicate
NULL, leave the Variable Value field blank.
