FLR of a Linux vm fails with an error stating Cannot connect to repository.
The Virtual Appliance configured for Linux FLR cannot connect to the repository.
There are a couple of possable causes/resolutions.
1) Virtual Appliance cannot resolve the IP address of the repository
2) The network segment where the repository is located is not accessable to the Virtual Appliance
In the vRanger app goto My Repository view and locate the repository where the save point is located.
Right click and select proporties.
Make note of the Server (\\MyRepoServer\share\folder)
Log on to the VA
Try to ping MyRepoServer
The ping should resolve an IP address. If ping does not return an IP address check that the DNS servers are correctly configured on the Virtual Appliance or make an entry in the hosts file on the VA.
If an IP is returned but ping returns host unreachable check that the Gateway is set correctly.
Information on changing VA networking settings can be found in the online Users Guide https://support.quest.com/technical-documents/DOC103352
