Scenario 1:
When Toad for Oracle starts up, Toad it either hangs or is very slow in starting up.
Scenario 2:
Toad tries to start but it doesn't finish the process, and stops working.
WORKAROUND #1:
If you have already checked your system requirements to make sure you meet the minimum requirement for Toad to run, then add the toad.exe to the exclusion list of any virus scan that you may be running.
WORKAROUND #2:
The user profile may be damaged and privileges dont' work on this user. In this case IT team can create another user profile in Windows and fix it.
