How to configure the "Auto commit" prompt upon exiting Toad and after executing each SQL statement.
The commit prompt used to always appear when exiting Toad, but is now configurable.
To change the configuration of the 'Auto commit' prompt, do the following:
1. Select View | Option
2. Select Oracle | Transactions
3. Locate the block headed 'When closing connections'. Set the activation on 'Prompt for commit/rollback when changes detected, ...'.
To configure the 'Auto commit' after executing each statement, do the following:
1. Select View | Option
2. Select Oracle | Transactions
3. Set 'Commit after every statement' option
