Toad for Oracle now leverages a Support Portal API performing a dynamic KnowledgeBase or KB Search based on a generated error code.
When the application generates an error, it displays an error box.
Within the error box, there is an option to execute a KB Search.
Clicking on the KB Search button, the API facilitates the execution of a dynamic search on the error.
Toad for Oracle has a feature to display the results in a drop-down selection list.
Relevant Knowledgebase Articles and Community resources, like ToadWorld , are retrieved and listed.
Within each resource section, display count totals for each section.
Expanding sections allow consideration of additional articles.
When selecting a KnowledgeBase article, Toad for Oracle launches the Support Portal to display the KnowledgeBase Article.
A portion of the Knowledge Article is available for review.
With current support maintenance, logging into the Support Portal will enable a complete view of the Knowledge Article.
