When attempting to connect to a DB2 database, the following error may occur: "Error:Security Processing Failed with reason 17 - unsupported function when calling .open"
WORKAROUND:
Manually add the database profile instead of using the imported catalog.
To add a database profile:
1. Open the Toad Connection window via the connection icon or go to File | New | Connections
2. Click on the Client Configuration Wizard icon next to the Database alias dropdown box
3. From the Client Configuration Wizard, click on Add Catalog Entry (you may want to remove the existing one first by selecting Remove Catalog Entry)
4. Go through the wizard and input the correct information
