Not able to edit data in the editor's data grid after running query against IBM iSeries (AS/400) database
Beschreibung

When attempting to edit results in the data grid from a query run against an IBM iSeries (AS/400) database, after unchecking the read-only field and saving the changes, no updates are saved to the database.

When reviewing the job log on the server, the following error messages appears.
"Statement not added to package TOADAFBA in library QGPL.TOADSECURITY in QUESTSOFTWARE type *FILE not found."
Lösung

RESOLUTION #1:
Use the data grid in the Schema Browser to make changes to the data.

RESOLUTION #2:
When clicking the button to disable read-only, the Define Custom Statements to Edit window appears. By default all of the selected columns are included in the UpdatableColumns selections.

If every field included there is updated, it saves the changes. If only some of the fields are updated, then the changes don’t save.

So, remove all the columns from that list that will not be updated.
