Launching erwin Data Modeler (DM) results in "Authentication Successful!" message:

Followed by error: "No Token - SSL connect error"

This error occurs because the system running erwin Data Modeler is unable to validate the SSL certificate presented by the Quest licensing service. While connectivity to the licensing server is successful, Windows cannot verify the certificate's revocation status.
HTTPS interception can prevent the application from establishing secure connections to Quest licensing services.
- Disable or whitelist HTTPS inspection/scanning in any third-party antivirus, endpoint protection, or web filtering solution.
- Verify that firewall, proxy, or network security devices allow outbound access to Certificate Revocation List (CRL) and Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) endpoints over standard ports (TCP 80 and TCP 443).
- Ensure connectivity to the following Quest licensing services (TCP ports 80 and 443):
https://core-licensing-api-prod.ism.quest.com
https://licensing.ism.quest.com
https://id.quest.com
Blocking access to any of the above URLs or to CRL/OCSP validation services may result in licensing activation, authentication, or certificate validation failures.
Option 2
If the affected system cannot be granted the required outbound internet access, request an offline activation license and complete the activation using the offline licensing process.
