Using the Alter Table window to drop a column, I get the following message when I click on Show Script:
-- The extended alter feature requires a Toad DB2/DBA License.
-- Please contact your Quest sales representative for details.
I am running Toad for DB2 Xpert Edition. Is the feature not supported in this edition?
The DBA module is required for advanced alter option like renaming columns and removing columns. The DBA module is an additional purchase with your license.

Please go to Help | About and check in the list of licensed components to see if you are licensed for DBA module. If you are not license you need to talk to your sales rep about purchasing the module for these advanced alter options.
