A web page error "404 - Page Not Found" occurs when:
1) Trying to check for new products, updates, free offerings and tutorials through the Quest Installer
or
2) Manually going to the URL: http://www.quest.com/downloads_quest_site/quest_central to check for updates.
Quest has had a problem with Router at the time when the issue was reported. Since the Router issue was fixed the issue with the URL was fixed as well.
Use the Quest Installer to scan for new updates by checking the "Check for new products, upgrades, free offerings and tutorials" radio button and clicking on Next.
Note: Do not use the URL outside of the Quest Installer:
The URL http://www.quest.com/downloads_quest_site/quest_central is not an HTML file and will not work outside of the Quest Installer application such as web browser (Internet Explorer or FireFox). The user must run the scan for updates within the Quest Installer.
