How does Foglight store time in relation to time zones? (4320490)

When Foglight is used to monitor database servers with different time zone:

1. How is timestamp stored in Foglight database repository? (UTC time, or with time zone attached?)
2. When creating a report, how will timestamp be shown? (with time zone?)

All times use Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

Reports will use the time zone of the user that scheduled the report.

This is based on the "User Preferences" of the user which can be set to any time zone via "Configuration | User Preferences | Time Zone".
The default user preference is the time zone of the server.

In addition, the locale of the report works in a similar way with the exception that if the locale to use is picked up from the browser then its last known value is remembered and used for generating the reports for that user.
