We are just configuring the Single Sign-On (SSO) integration with the Foglight Management Server (FMS). When we attempt to start the FMS with SSO ("SpnegoAuthValve" and "NtlmAuthValve" lines uncommented in the content.xml file) the following error message is reported in the ManagementServer log:
2013-07-23 10:57:44.233 ERROR [main] com.wedgetail.idm.sso.util.CommonsSsoLogger - VSJ credentials (principal, realm, keytab/password) are invalid
com.wedgetail.idm.sso.ConfigException: Could not validate VSJ password [caused by: com.dstc.security.kerberos.KerberosError: Server not found in Kerberos database]
...
The "setspn -L <service account>" output shows that we applied both the host only URL and the fully qualified URL mappings with setspn, in addition to mapping the service principal name with ktpass, which is what was recommended in KB 89884 (Video - Configuring Active Directory Single Sign-on).
