On the SQL PI blocking history dashboard, the SPID time is 2020-06-15 05:55:17.34 and the Event Start time is earlier at 2020-06-15 05:45.
How can the SPID time be earlier than event start time?
All of the Foglight components (host server, FMS, and FglAM) are all in the same time zone.
The zonar timeframe of the dashboard controls the time that the blocking took place.
When looking a week of data the data is aggregated to an hour. All events that occurred between 11:00-11:59 will get an event time of 11:00.
The details of the data, on the other hand, like the session login time - will be kept as is. The user can only see the top block events for this one hour.
The user can try to zoom in on a specific hour and that may give the data accurate to 15 min, instead of an hour.
If the user gets an event of 5:45, that means it occurred between 5:42 and 5:45. It it was occurring after 5:45 - it will have a later time frame
When NOT looking at the lowest granularity(1m) - the exact time depends on the aggregation level available - in this example it is 15 minutes. So that if the block occurred at 5:58 they will not see it unless they include the timeframe until 6:00.
