Issue
Due to an issue with an illegal character in the OU, the user provisioning failed after the Active Directory (AD) contact was deleted. How can I add the contact back, and correct the problem?
Solution
Perform the following to resolve this.
Disable the Exchange user mail account if one was created.
Delete the SQL object from Dirsync
Make sure there are no unsupported (illegal) characters.
Make a change to the Domino NAB person doc for this user, and save the doc.
Domino Dirsync sees the change at the next update interval and creates a new object in AD.
