When connecting to SharePoint using Metalogix Extensions Web Services (MEWS) adapter, one of the following error messages is displayed:
Cannot find Metalogix Web Extensions on the target. Please ensure that the correct version of the Web Extensions is installed on the target, or try connecting at the Site Level.
The Metalogix SharePoint Extensions Web Service is not installed on this server. For more information on how to install the Extensions Web Service refer to the documentation.
The MEWS component is either not installed/deployed on the environment being connected to or it does not match the Content Matrix Console version being used to connect.

Note: DOMAINURL represents the domain and X.X.X.X represents the MEWS component version (e.g. 7.4.0.1).
If the URL resolves and shows the web service interface in XML, it means the service is operating well and can be accessed from that specific machine. If not, either MEWS is not installed correctly or the network does not allow it to be resolved.
6. Retract and remove both solutions, perform IISRESET on all WFE servers in the Farm, then re-deploy the solutions manually using PowerShell or stsadm.
