During a migration, will the content from the source SharePoint environment be locked for users to access?

Resolution
Content from the source SharePoint environment will not be locked and will still be accessible to users during migration. However, there may be a slight load put on the WFE server the migration tool is reading from. This may cause slight delays for users, depending on the resources available on the WFE server.
