Description
In Content matrix, if a Document library has OneNote Template, Unable to create any new OneNote file from the Migrated Template. It displays ‘Page Not Found’ -
Cause
In SharePoint OnPremise in comparison to SharePoint Online the structure in which OneNote files work has been changed. Migrating as a template behaviour will open as a new OneNote file as compared to creating a form based upon the fields in the template. -
Resolution
In SharePoint Online it's the recommended approach to utilize OneNote Notebooks instead
