App registration for Ouath authentication makes ADFS inaccessible / locked out -
Description
After initial connection using Oauth will register App in Azure. Later on, there might arise a business need that despite first / initial Oauth connection, ADFS connection type is required - for example Enterprise has disabled Oauth-capable third party applications due to security concerns. There is a setting inside azure active directory that lets you to disable Oauth. -
Cause
In Content Matrix, there is a check box 'Do not display message again' see below. Note, this checkbox locks out functionality for any further ADSF connections. Selecting this option makes Oauth default authentication option, see attached.

Resolution
This 'lock-out' behavior can be changed by updating ApplicationSetting.xml in following location:C:\Users\ACCOUNT\AppData\Roaming\Metalogix\Content Matrix Console - SharePoint EditionNext, you locate two 'Oauth' strings and change 'true' to 'false' accordingly:<Key>IsOAuthAuthenticationSelected</Key><Value>True</Value></XmlableEntry><XmlableEntry><Key>ShowOffice365OAuthAuthenticationDialog</Key><Value>False</Value>Note, to Edit ApplicationSetting.xml file, make sure, you will close Content Matrix console first.
