What are the default retention settings for Archived logs, and how can these settings be adjusted (4247719)

The Default retention period for Archive logs is 30 day.  This can be adjusted by modifying the following registry value:

On a 64-bit OS:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Aelita\AelitaCollaborationServices\Logging\PackerDeleteOldArcsInterval

On a 32-bit OS:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Aelita\AelitaCollaborationServices\Logging\PackerDeleteOldArcsInterval

To modify the archive log retention period:

1. Run Regedit and navigate to the appropriet registry key listed above
2. Double Click the "DeleteOldArcsInterval" value
3. Click the Decimal radio button
4. Enter the the number of days that you wish to retain archive logs for
5. Click "OK"
6. Exit the Registry Editor
7. Open the Services Management Console and restart the "Quest Collaboration Services Logging Service"

NOTE: Archive logs are purged every 12 hours.  The impact of the above changes may only be visible after the next scheduled purge.
