Yes. Collaboration Services is designed to synchronize Global Address Lists, Free/Busy Data and Calendar Information between Microsoft Exchange Organizations. No trust relations ships are required for this synchronization, however each AD forest must have Microsoft Exchange installed, and SMTP mail traffic must be able to be delivered between them, as Encrypted SMTP email is used as the transport mechanism.
