The following error is encountered at the end of the installation - Service 'ACSSyncService' failed to start. (1062). You can click OK and the installation completes.
Then after launching the Collaboration Services console the following error appears -
8008005 (4772AEF): Server execution failed
[EIP: 0x0368750E,0x7674586C]
This can be caused by having multiple domains in the forest and not having all the domains listed in the DNS search suffixes
If you have multile domains in your forest Collaboration Servies much enumerate all domains in the forest.
The above error can be caused by Collaboration Services not being able to properly contact all domains in the forest.
In your network configuration check that there are DNS search suffixes for all domains in the forest and that all domains can be contacted.
