When using CMN, Domino users mail to Exchange users are displayed in Outlook as foreign SMTP address (4343645)

When using CMN, mail from Domino users to Exchange users are displayed in Outlook as foreign SMTP addresses, as opposed to "Friendly Names".

This is caused by the Domino "RFC822 phrase handling" setting in the Configuration Settings document.

The following directions will tell Domino to include a "friendly name" such as "John Jones" in outbound email.

1. Open Domino Administrator
2. Click on the Configuration tab
3. Expand Server
4. Click on Configurations
5. Edit the server configuration
6. Click on the MIME tab
7. Click on the Advanced tab
8. Set the RFC822 phrase handling to "Use CN as phrase".
