Title

Domino Resources booked using Outlook returns a different SMTP address as accepting the meeting.
Description

If a Domino resource name in Exchange does not exactly match the name in Domino, the meeting request will be returned with the SMTP address of the Resource responding with the status of the booking. The Exact match includes the Site name as is listed in Domino. This can be seen in the Status section of the meeting invite in Outlook.
Cause

This is caused by CMN match the Text string in both systems.
Resolution
To resolve this issue there is a parameter that can be changed in the configuration.xml file that can be found in the Mail Connector directory.
Open this file in Edit mode and locate the line PreserveResourceSites near the bottom.
- Change the entry from False to True.
- Restart the Mail Connector
Making this change prevents CMN from looking for the Domino Site name for a resource. The caveat is that that the Names of the Resources in Exchange and Domino must match.

The Status update will display correctly in Outlook.

Additional Information

Where the Display name in Domino and Exchange are completely different changing the configuration file in this way will not address this issue. This is a current limitation of CMN
