CMN How to replace unwanted characters in the telephone number field using Directory Connector -
Description
Coexistence Manager for Notes (CMN) migrates the data as it is formatted in the source. If the source telephone number uses forward slashes this will also be displayed in the target.

Resolution
The provision and update attributes for telephone number within CMN can be modified so the data displays correctly in the target.
The script will take the source telephone number of 555/555-5555 and convert it to 555-555-5555 in the target.
- Open CMN
- Click on Connector Settings on the left pane
- Right click the connector for source Domino to target Exchange
- Choose Advanced Settings
- Select the Users tab
- Select the Provision Attributes tab
- Click on telephoneNumber to highlight it
- Click the Remove button
- Click the Add Script button
- Choose telephoneNumber from the drop menu
- Copy/Paste in the script below
- Click the OK button
- Repeat the steps above for the Update Attributes tab
