Set the Coordinator to rebuilt the default searches. As the rebuild will overwrite all of the default searches, any of the default searches that have been customized or modified but not saved to another folder such as Private or Shared then they will be overwritten. To protect these customized searches, open the Properties and save the search to another folder. Once the search has been moved out from under the Built-In container the search is no longer a default search.
1) Verify that there is not a default search named ChangeAuditor Real-Time in the Built-In container under the Search tab. Delete the search if present, so that there is no confusion when the default searches are rebuilt, as the process will add another search.
2) Close the ChangeAuditor Client
3) Disable the Coordinator.
4) Open Regedit,HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Quest Software\ChangeAuditor\Coordinator.
5) Add DWORD (32-bit) Value, name it RebuildQueries and set the value to 1.
6) Enable the Coordinator.
7) Open the Client and verify that the Overview tab works. Should have the title 'My Favorite Search: ChangeAuditor Real-Time'.
8) If step 7 is correct then return to Regedit and change the value to 0 for the RebuildQueries DWORD, or delete the DWORD.
