Description
When using SQL High availability technology other than clusters for CA backend database there are some basic settings required. -
Cause
Using SQL High availability AlwaysOn \ Multisubnet failover -
Resolution
To use SQL Always On\ Multi-subnet Failover the following settings are required:
- If using AlwaysOn Availability Groups and SQL server authentication the SQL Login account must be assigned the sysadmin role on every SQL server in the Availability Group.
- It requires adding the Change Auditor database to the always-on availability group and then update the SQL connection info for the coordinator to use the group listener as the "SQL Server".
