Auditing page Active Directory tab Auditing scope
The Enterprise object in the Auditing | Active Directory section under the Administration Task tab of the Change Auditor Client should not be removed. Our technical team are involved in discussions to make it Static and only removable in specific cases
When object classes are selected they will appear in the Overview screen, other AD events will also be captured even if they are not selected .
Workaround :
In general, the “Active Directory” tab is intended to allow for extend auditing (in the event the schema is extended for example) without affecting the default auditing scopes.
The results of testing shows Active Directory auditing to be hard-coded on the Agent-side. So, object changes (to AD sites as an example) will be recorded as long as there is an entry added to the Auditing | Active Directory section of the Administration Task tab. These changes occur in the Configuration partition outside of the Domain Partition.
Disabling Active Directory events can only be done under "Auditing" | 'Audit Events' in the Administration Task tab, 'Active Directory' license events may be disabled here, but is rather extreme and is not recommended.
Status:
Enhancement Request Number TFS41738 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release if Change Auditor.
