You try to run a search but is just sits there with a spinning circle. Reviewing the Coordinator log you see an error similar to the following:
"Could not allocate space for object '<temporary system object: 3458769402115325952>' in database 'tempdb' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup"
Cause
This error is coming from the SQL server and not Change Auditor. When running a search the tempdb is used to store temporary objects and results needed to construct the results of the search. The tempdb is not able to grow to accommodate the space needed to complete the search.
Resolution
Check and confirm that the drive where the tempdb is hosted has sufficient freespace. Ensure the tempdb does not have restricted growth.
Your Request will be reviewed by our technical reviewer team and, if approved, will be added as a Topic in our Knowledgebase.
