Agent on SharePoint server stops processing events after 30-40 minutes and has to be restarted.
Description

An administrator noticed that the Change Auditor Agent installed on a SharePoint server stops sending events after about 30-40 minutes. The agent will resume collecting and sending events once restarted, but only for another 30-40 minutes, then event processing stops again.
Cause

The agent process is being hindered by the Antivirus.
Resolution

Refresh the Antivirus policy and ensure that there are exclusions for the agent process/files.
