During Agent installation, a generic error is displayed in the Client. When the Agent is installed manually, the following error is displayed in a pop-up:
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {844EFBA7-1C24-93B2-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E}. HRESULT: 0x80070422
Checking the CaMsiInstall log file (c:\Windows\Temp\) shows the following error:
Workaround 1:
Ensure the latest Windows updates are completed, and a reboot of the server has been done.
Workaround 2:
Download the most current version of Microsoft Visual C++ 20xx Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update and install on the impacted server.

If Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 exists on the server uninstall this version only and then the agent will install.
