NM: The workstation is currently in a state of 'Needs Attention'
A migration worker shows as Offline and does not accept new migration jobs. Checking on the worker there is a notification message: The workstation is currently in a state of 'Needs Attention'.
This is by design for the migration worker and is intended to shut down the worker until it can be checked for any issues. This is to prevent a worker with an incorrect configuration or a problem with network connectivity to the target migration system (Office 365 or Exchange On Premise) from processing migrations. The worker will shut down if it detects 3 consecutive migration initialization failures.
Open the Connectivity Tester and use that to confirm the migration account on the worker is able to connect to its mailbox.
Verify that the worker software is installed from the Requirements Guide.
Check the migration logs for the last migration that was sent to that worker. The log can either be checked on the controller (C:\Program Files\Binary Tree\CMT for Exchange\Logs) or on the worker itself (C:\Program Files (x86)\Binary Tree\CMT for Exchange\Worker\Logs). Any errors in the log should be verified.
Check the Windows Event Log for any items related to the CMT Worker process.
Once the worker checks are completed accept the notification (click Yes) to bring the worker back online.
