NM: Why are hundreds of reminders appearing during migration? (4331790)

When migrating from Notes to Outlook, I'm getting all these reminder popups. How can I disable these?

Answer

The reason this happens is because the Outlook client it thinks the migrated messages are 'new' data therefore it triggers the alarm/reminder. Unfortunately this is a function of the Outlook client and not something we can resolve.

However you can disable the reminders in Outlook so they will stop popping up and displaying with the following steps:

--Open the Outlook client
--Click on the Tools menu and select Option
--Click on the Other tab
--Select Advanced Options...
--Select Reminder Options...
