Information regarding comparing folder counts and documents between the two different clients (Notes/Outlook):

When performing data validation using Notes Migrator, keep in mind that Outlook has different folder limitations than Lotus Notes does. 
In Lotus Notes, you can have documents of any type in a view or folder. 

However, in Outlook, a folder has a default message class (e.g. mail or tasks or appointments) and can only contain items of that class. 

When you compare folder totals in Notes, you may be seeing 43 mail items, 24 appointments, and 2 tasks, which appear as 69 items total. 
The corresponding folder in Outlook however, will only contain one of those message types. 

When we run into the situation where a folder contains mixed types, we migrate the types the folder rejects into the default folder for that type. 
Mail goes into the Inbox folder, appointments into the Calendar folder, etc.
