All my mailbox migration cutovers are failing this morning See Logs attached for one example. Some accounts Forwarding is set at the source abut some forwarding are not set.
ERROR: Exception: “Waiting: Cannot currently continue cutover of <UPN>, waiting for CutoverTargetMailbox, HideTargetContact conditions to be met. This operation will be retried. [UserMigrationId #<ID>]”
Review the DSL server to ensure it is running and restart the server.
Confirm changes from the Dirsync (DSL) are process by AADC connect and reflected in the cloud.
We also noticed some users in the wave are faced with an exception such as this one after reviewing the logs:
Exception: Read: “<ID> was not found.
System.Exception: Object with ID <ID> was not found.
at CDS.Model.RetrievalJob.Run(IWebServiceFactory webServiceFactory, CancellationToken cancellationToken)
at CDS.Model.T2TRetrievalJob.Run(IWebServiceFactory webServiceFactory, CancellationToken cancellationToken)
at CDS.Model.Job.Execute(IWebServiceFactory webServiceFactory, CancellationToken cancellationToken)”
Check the Cloud Directory Sync (CDS) & Tenant to Tenant (T2T) PowerShell accounts of all affected users & ensure they have the correct permissions, and Admin Role.
Note: Normally this exception is fixed by the above recommendation but with the issue we encountered on 1/15/2021 we have seen more of these errors. Essentially, the MS update removes the permissions from the roles and account lose access to the objects.
