This is an explanation of the following migration log entry: "Skipping: Doc does not contain an update"
This migration log entry is issued when a child document of a calendar event does not contain any updates or changes to an occurrence. This most often occurs when child documents are created as a result of a cancellation or change to the original pattern.
Most likely these example in the log state that the child document has a CSFlags of "i" which is simply an instance of a repeating event. This child doc has no changes or updates for the occurrence, so it is skipped.
The migration engine gets the repeat dates/pattern from the parent document, then any cancellations or updates found in the child documents are used to revise the dates or create exceptions for Exchange.
Since child documents with "i" have no changes to the event, there is no need to processed them any further.
There are a few other cases in addition to CSFlags being "i" which would cause the child document to be skipped, they all go back to the fact that the child document has no information which affects/changes the calendar item.
