On the TPCH Power Test which takes about 4 hours, the summary tab displays status : sampling for a long time => more than 30 min.

Sampling is just an indication that the test is sending/executing transactions and that the results/statistics during this phase will be stored in the repository.

No, the test is executing during the Sampling phase. When Sampling is over the test stops submitting/executing transactions.
