Resolution
Issue
The Stage 2 command DellArchiveManagerOffice365DeleteShortcuts may be failing with following WCF errors below:2019-07-18 04:48:19Z|1005|gsidc01qasb01| 38|DEBUG| CallWebService|WCF error. Retry: 2. Void HandleReturnMessage(System.Runtime.Remoting.Messaging.IMessage, System.Runtime.Remoting.Messaging.IMessage)
Value cannot be null.

When frequent WCF errors are seen in the ArchiveShuttle.WebServicesLog.server.ShortcutProcess.Client.txt log, the command DellArchiveManagerOffice365DeleteShortcuts might be finished unsuccessfully with the log below:2019-07-18 06:36:04Z|1005|gsidc01qasb01| 12| INFO| ProcessSearch|Finished command [DellArchiveManagerOffice365DeleteShortcuts], primary mailbox [test.user@domain.com], processed item count [0], processing time[1425s], message:[Partial result failed, failed item count : [600]]

The log indicates some items have failed, and related to the failed items, you might also see following warning in the ArchiveShuttle.WebServicesLog.server.ShortcutProcess.Client.txt log in TRACE log level:2019-07-18 06:22:43Z|1005|gsidc01qasb01| 46| WARN| GetShortcutItem|CheckSum not defined for Item with id [AAMkADlkNTgwMDliLWVkN2QtNDU4MC04ZTJkLTNkN2IyYjk2MjFlYgBGAAAAAADLv2rDk1rcRr5PsdGRdZCuBwAgyTDL4yDCRYq8NwKw+hK9AAAB0EZ2AABv/0FCFzBlR4p2HW40u7qlAAFOW0K8AAA=]
This warning means that there is no extended property CheckSum in the item.
As we are not able get the value (CheckSum property) in the module, the WCF request send to Core is failing, as we are using this value in Core.
Solution
The Archive Shuttle System Configuration Shortcut Process module setting ‘Delete shortcuts not related to migrated items.‘ can be used for the impacted users.
