Issue
Sometimes it might be necessary to migrate some of the user’s items first to enable him to work with them, and at a later point the rest of data needs to be migrated.
Solution
If there is a need to migrate items younger than 1st January 2017 first, and later the rest, which are items older than 1st January 2017, the following will help:
1) Before creating the mapping, you will need to create a filter on the “Migration Filter” Screen. We will use ‘ItemDate’ filter for items younger than 1st January 2017.
2) After the migration filter is ready mapping with the new filter can be created.
3) Once all items are migrated, Stage 2 could be enabled. It depends on the migration type.
Option with Stage 2 enabled:
4a) After the stage 2 is done, a new migration filter need to be created to migrate the rest of the data. In this case it should be ‘ItemDate’ filter for items older than 1st January 2017.
5a) Follow steps below to get the rest of items migrated:
